I first discovered Pilates 3 ½ years ago, after my Orthopaedic Surgeon and Physiotherapist both told me to “forget the gym” and recommended that Pilates was the best way to rehabilitate following a hip replacement.

Initially, I saw Bianca for a couple of private sessions and my recovery quickly progressed. And I was hooked on Pilates! It wasn’t long before I became a regular face in the studio. My core stability and strength drastically improved and the practice of Pilates has seen my muscles become longer and leaner.

In 2018 I decided to “retire” from the corporate world with the idea of working part-time.Before class one afternoon Bianca asked me what I was going to do with myself, to which I replied that I just wanted to work part-time. What Bianca said next has literally changed my life (for the better!). “Why don’t you do your Pilates qualifications and come and work here” were her words and it was a light bulb moment which saw me on the path to becoming a Pilates Instructor.

I have completed qualifications in both Matwork and Reformer Pilates and plan to continue studying and learning. I am thrilled to be part of the Powercore team and absolutely love helping our clients in the studio.
